Hey! My name is Jacob Moore but everyone calls me Moose. I'm a freelance media creative from Round Rock, Texas. As of the spring 2026 semester I am a Senior in highschool and am about to graduate. I work primarily in the Austin and Dallas - Fortworth area and am proficient in Photography, Videography, and Graphic Design.
I first got into photography when I got a concussion close to the beginning of the 2024 Varsity football season junior year. I had to spend two weeks on the sideline and thats when I wiped my phone out and took (really bad) photos for the first time. After spending the rest of the season watching JV football and taking pictures on my phone I finally got my hands on my first DSLR camera the trusty Nikon d7500.
After being incredibly confident after watching a couple youtube tutorials I finally drove to a basketball game my friends were playing in for my highschool and shot. Needless to say my first attempt and several attempts after that were not good but after a two month break I came back and started going to softball games for Round Rock. Thankfully the softball team let me come to almost every game they had and gave me the time and confidence to start improving my skills. After getting my name out there I asked the student body organization Dragon Nation to do media for any and all sports or events they needed coverage for. Now going into college next semester I am building up a portfolio and saving up to buy better gear so I can continue working as a media creative intern at UT.
